Metalbird is both a global art project and a sculpture brand. We make life-sized bird silhouettes from Corten® weathering steel (70%+ recycled), designed to age beautifully outdoors.

It began in 2009 as guerrilla street art in a Kiwi backyard and has since grown into the world’s largest flock of steel birds, with installations in gardens, parks, and memorials across more than 9 countries.

Every Metalbird is made local in the region it’s sold, designed to be hammered into trees, posts, fences — anywhere it’ll catch the light.

We’re not just selling birds. We’re sending stories, memories, and moments into the wild — one silhouette at a time.
